In this study of the potential impact of a proposed gas pipeline on communities along the Mackenzie River in the Northwest Territories, Clive developed methods for analyzing and portraying physical and socio-economic impacts, conducted qualitative surveys of the communities, researched building practices and experiences in arctic regions around the world, and helped compile an atlas of the communities.
